Being awarded the opportunity to compete as Miss Illinois USA has shown me that I can do anything I set my mind to, and with my intelligence, I am ready to represent my home state and showcase my ability to advocate for underrepresented individuals. Having representation as a way to know that they can succeed by seeing people who look like them is ideal for anyone. I enjoy challenges that help me to reach my goals. I understand that while obstacles are not enjoyable, they better prepare me for growing into my purpose as a human being.
I love that pageants give women the opportunity to show their best versions of themselves. After every pageant that I have competed in, I left feeling more confident and empowered. I am looking forward for this opportunity to show my hard work and dedication, which is important for the job of Miss Illinois USA. I cannot wait to represent Clinton County in the pageant this March!
I competed in my first pageant in 2019, not realizing the impact a title could bring. In a matter of months, my life changed for the better. Pageantry has given me the platform to voice my beliefs and gain experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today. My goal is to give a voice to those who do not have one, and inspire others that they can achieve anything they set their mind to, no matter who they are. If I can make a difference, so can you. I am so grateful for the opportunity to walk the Miss Illinois Teen USA stage this March, representing our beautiful states nickname, the “Prairie State.” Join me in supporting this journey to the Vanbros crown by becoming one of my official sponsors. Thank you for your consideration!
