The ABC7 Jim Gibbons Run, Walk & Survivors' Strut is a major fundraiser for the Leukemia Research Foundation. Each year on the third Thursday in June,
more than 2,500 participants gather along Chicago's downtown lakefront to run, walk and raise funds in search of a cure for leukemia and lymphoma.

On Sunday, May 4, the Greater Illinois Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society held their 19th annual Walk MS event on the Chicago Waterfront.
The annual fundraiser helps the chapter provide services and programs to 20,000 people with MS and their families within Illinois.

Nora participates in the March of Dimes Walk for Babies on Sunday, April 30th. Thousands of people throughout the Chicago area
participated in the 36th annual event to help fund lifesaving research to prevent birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

The Lipinski-Callahan-Daly Memorial Chapter of the Leukemia Research Foundation presents its 36th annual fashion show fundraiser "Celebrate Fashion"

In honor of World Autism Awareness Day, a crowd of children and parents gathered to hear Nora read at the "Let's Be Friends Storytime" at Barnes & Noble in Chicago. Click here for more info and article.

Nora attends the "Chicago Auto Show First Look for Charity" event, where she helped at the reception for Children's Memorial Hospital (one of her family's favorite charities). She sold raffle tickets, spoke to the gathering about her experiences at the hospital and then pulled the winning ticket for the raffle.
