Jill Gulseth, a 20 year old from Geneva, Illinois, is a five foot nine beauty with long brown hair and blue eyes.

Jill is attending The University of Iowa where she plans to get her Masters in Psychology and Bachelors in Elementary Education. She plans to work with children and with their parents as well as staff members to improve children's well-being by giving more personal assistance to those in need.

Jill has a strong commitment to be involved with the community where she spends much of her free time serving the lives of others. She has over 550 hours of community service through volunteering at a local hospital in Illinois, Big Brothers/ Big Sisters of America, Family Shelter Services, and The University of Iowa Dance Marathon (Children's Cancer Foundation) where she is a Moral Captain Assistant to lead others to help fight for a cure.

In addition, Jill participates with her sorority, Pi Beta Phi, in a philanthropy organization that supports the fight against Crohns and Colitis diseases. In October 2004, she ran the Zeta Tau Alpha (ZTA) 5K to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness and Education in honor of a family member and a good friend that has fought this fatal disease. Therefore, she would further promote awareness of Breast Cancer along with Ovarian Cancer during her reign because of these experiences.

When Jill is not hitting the books or assisting in the community, she enjoys being in front of the camera as a professional model. In fact, she received the Miss Photogenic award during the 2005 Miss Illinois USA pageant. Jill is a beautiful, compassionate and loving woman who loves to run and keep an active healthy lifestyle. Her other hobbies consist of soccer, volleyball, dancing and shopping.

Jill will now prepare to represent The Land of Lincoln in Baltimore, Maryland for the national title of MISS USA 2005 to be aired LIVE on NBC in April 2005.
